"I'm in medical menopause and it's been hellacious," Bunnie Xo admits on her Dumb Blonde podcast. "It has been the worst thing I've ever been through in my life."
Bunnie Xo reveals that they were able to retrieve some eggs last time, but to increase their chances, they wanted to retrieve some more. With her latest cycle, Bunnie Xo said she did not want to use the drug Lupron, after seeing the impact it had on her father.
"I told the doctor I did not want to do Lupron," she says. "Lupron is one of those drugs that is used for multiple things ... I saw how my dad felt on Lupron, and now that I actually have gone through it, I feel so bad that I was not more understanding with my dad. I have almost gone to the hospital probably 10 times in the past 48 hours."
The combination of drugs and the havoc on her hormones is enough to make Bunnie Xo completely walk away from IVF.
"I've lost weight. I can't eat ... I feel like I'm rotting from the inside out," she says.
"At this point, I don't f--king care. Let's just call it what it is and figure out another game plan," Bunnie Xo adds.
Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo's Marriage
Aside from the physical toll on Bunnie Xo's body, her marriage to Jelly Roll is better than ever.
"I guess we went through the hardest [stuff] the first few years because, man, it's only getting smoother," Jelly Roll says on the podcast, The Pivot (via People). "It's not even more like I'm just settled in. Like, it's not even that old stale marriage where they're just like, we're roommates."
"We're just really getting better ... That's my partner," Jelly Roll boasts. "I used to hate it when people go, 'That's my person.' But I'm like, she's my person."
Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo got married in 2016. When Jelly Roll proposed, he was living in a van, unaware of the massive career he would ultimately have.
"We're just really getting better ... That's my partner," Jelly Roll says. "I used to hate it when people go, 'That's my person.' But I'm like, she's my person."
