Lainey Wilson travels all over the world, thanks to her job as one of country music's biggest superstars. So when she doest get a rare date night with her fiancé, Devlin "Duck" Hodges, Wilson reveals she prefers to keep things simple.

"Normally, it is us at the house and we'll take a little ride on the side-by-side and go check all the deer cameras," Wilson tells Taste of Country. "Then he will cook, and I'll sit there.
"And we may have a little drink together," she continues. "And then we spend the evening on the porch, listening to music."
Wilson sings about their sweet love story in her recent hit single, "4X4XU."
"The truth is, I write what I know, and I finally found a man worth writing about," Wilson says (via Songfacts). "So you know it's a love song because y'all probably thought, 'Dang, she ain't got it in her, she ain't got it in her'... but I do. I got me a cheerleader."

Wilson and Hodges got engaged in February. Six months later, Wilson admits they still don't have much of the wedding planned.
"Well, you ain't gonna believe this but we still have not planned it, bless his heart," Wilson tells Taste of Country.
"It just seems like everything else is getting planned," she adds.
They don't have a date or a venue picked out, but they do at least talk about what they want their big day to look like.
"Of course we sit around and talk about what we would want," the singer says. "Just trying to figure out, is it big or small? Is cousin so-and-so coming? Is cousin so-and-so not?"
Wilson already did share some details about her wedding. She says she will wear a dress, and have jazz music instead of country.
"I told him, I was like, everything else is a big old to-do, we might as well just... I want it to be about what it's supposed to be about," Wilson tells Pure Country Radio. "Of course a party. We're going to have a party."
Wilson is going to have to do much of the planning on the road. She is currently headlining her Whirlwind World Tour.
