Neil Young Trashes Trump Over His Feud With Bruce Springsteen

Iconic songwriter Neil Young has come to back up Bruce Springsteen in his crusade against President Donald Trump. It all starts when The Boss starts his tour in Manchester, England and opens up about the state of America back home.

"In my home, the America I love, the America I've written about, and has been a beacon of hope and liberty for 250 years, is currently in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent and treasonous administration. Tonight, we ask all who believe in democracy and the best of our American experience to rise with us, raise your voices against the authoritarianism, and let freedom ring," Springsteen says.

Obviously, this is the kind of sentiment someone like Neil Young would appreciate. However, Trump obviously takes exception to this and so do his supporters like Kid Rock. The latter even tells Springsteen to "stay in Europe, Bruce." Now, we've got something of a tag team match going on when Young joins the fray and jabs at Trump too.

Recently, Young wrote on his website, addressing Trump's response to Bruce Springsteen. There, he essentially tells the president to get over himself and says there are far more important things to worry about in America. It's a scathing criticism that is honestly long overdue. "Bruce and thousands of musicians think you are ruining America. You worry about that instead of the dyin' kids in Gaza," Neil writes.

"That's your problem. I am not scared of you. Neither are the rest of us. You shut down FEMA when we needed it most. That's your problem Trump. STOP THINKING ABOUT WHAT ROCKERS ARE SAYING. Think about saving America from the mess you made," Neil continues.

God forbid the president of the United States does his job instead of poke at celebrities like Taylor Swift and Bruce Springsteen.
