Why go through all the trouble of putting on a Wicked-themed birthday party for your kids? Do you really want to spend hundreds of dollars throwing a shindig at Sky Zone that your child won't remember in 20 years?

Consider switching things up. We recommend taking inspiration from one family who shifted gears and celebrated another trip around the sun with a party themed after the King of Country Music, George Strait.
This 3-Year-Old Kid Loves George Strait
In a clip posted on TikTok, a three-year-old named Smith is sitting on a table next to a cardboard cutout of the "Amarillo by Morning" singer. A banner reads, "Dang Strait! Smith is 3!" The caption on the video reads, "You're tinniest but biggest fan @George Strait."
The song "Write This Down" plays in the background, and the text over the video says, "POV: you just turned 3 and are obsessed with George Strait."
That description seems more than accurate. The birthday boy is dressed in a Stetson hat, denim-colored shirt, and cowboy boots, and is a dead ringer for the country music legend. Smith is all smiles because he knows he's about to have a slice of the cow cake nearby. He then blows out the three candles on top.
Fans Are Obsessed, Too
The comments are filled with adults who want to live vicariously through Smith. Here's a sample of some of our favorites:
"Happy Birthday little man! Young and old, we all love King George!"
"Well this is just the cutest thing I've ever seen."
"I mean, I get it!! I've been in love with him since I was 4!! I'm 44 now. Happy Birthday, little man!"
"Oh my gosh I'm obsessed with this! Happy birthday lil man!"
"This kid has good taste."
"Now that is what I'm talking about! Raising that boy right!"
"Makes sense... George Strait is the best."
"Young and old, we all love King George."
"Damn I want a George Strait birthday party."
There is no word on whether the Texas Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee and recent Kennedy Center honoree has seen or commented on the clip. We can't speak for Strait, but come on, we all know he'd love it.
