Reba McEntire Spilled Her Popcorn at the Movies Over Thanksgiving

The very busy Reba McEntire and her fiancé Rex Linn didn't spend Turkey Day basting a turkey or baking a pie.

As you might expect, Reba McEntire's schedule is packed right now.

Not only is she coaching on The Voice, but the "Fancy" singer also stars in and executive produces the sitcom Happy's Place, now in its second season.

The 70-year-old is also trying to plan her wedding with her fiancé, actor Rex Linn, but they're not in a rush to tie the knot at the moment.

"We're totally enjoying being engaged," she said recently. "Have no idea when we're going to set a date. Work comes first, so we'll see."

Given her hectic schedule, she probably treasures whatever downtime she can get, and over the long holiday weekend, she took some much-needed time to relax.

Reba McEntire Went to the Movies

McEntire shared on Instagram that she and Linn didn't have a typical Thanksgiving. Rather, the couple put on their comfiest clothes and went out to their local theater.

"Thanksgiving at the movies," she wrote in an Instagram post. "Saw Hamnet! Somebody spilled popcorn... and he wasn't bald."

In the photo carousel, there's a pic of a pile of popcorn at McEntire's feet. Whoops!

One fan wrote, "Reba, how could you waste so much yummy buttery popcorn lol, but I hope you both had a great time and enjoy the movie."

"So happy for you, Reba," commented another fan. "Somehow God sent a very good man to love you. You both look so very happy!

Even former Saturday Night Live star Cheri Oteri had something to say. She wrote, "You guys are too cute for cryin out loud."

Reba Loves Being Linn's Fiancé

Last month, McEntire spoke in an interview about her relationship with Linn, sharing, "I'm having a blast. It's just a wonderful time."

She added that she "is happier now than I've ever been in my life. I'm 70 years old, 50 years in the business. God saved the best for last."

As of now, the couple hasn't set a wedding date. "I asked him, 'Well, when do you want to do this?' He said, 'Let's have fun with the engagement time.' So we haven't set a date or anything. We're just enjoying each other," she explained.
