Toby Keith passed last year, on February 5. To commemorate the anniversary of his passing, Krystal Keith wrote a loving and emotional tribute.

The country legend is still very sorely missed. He had died after a years-long battle with cancer. Fans and family of the Country Music Hall of Famer gathered online yesterday in remembrance. His daughter Krystal made an especially heartfelt post.
On Instagram, she shared eleven pictures of her father alongside the emotional passage. The best thing about it, is that she doesn't mention his contributions to country or his awards. He was a loving father, a family man, and a good guy, and that's enough.
"It feels like yesterday we said goodbye and yet it somehow has also been the longest year without him," she began. You already know it's going to be a tear-jerker.
She went on to say that it's hard to find a picture of Toby Keith without one of his kids also in it. "Our littles miss their buddy big time but we all know we will see him again someday," she continues, speaking of his grandchildren.
"Until then, he will watch over us and walk beside us. Every sunset (and he LOOOOVED his sunsets) is a reminder that he wants us to live our best life and do good in the world. So that's exactly is what we will do."
