“She Had To Feel Sick”: Gavin Adcock Comments on Zach Bryan Disrupting Gabriella Rose’s Set at Festival

If you are a country music fan who loves drama, then Gavin Adcock is the gift that keeps on giving.

The "Own Worst Enemy" singer, famous for his rowdy shows where fans hurl beer cans at him, shares his opinions on nearly everything. He weighed in on Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter, then criticized Charley Crockett for defending her.

However, those disagreements seemed minor once Adcock became involved in a much bigger feud with Zach Bryan.

Here's the Recap

Adcock criticized Bryan on social media for refusing to take a picture with a young fan, saying, "If you can't handle the criticism of a 14-year-old, why do people idolize you?"

He also went on to say that he didn't think Bryan was that good a person, saying the singer "puts on a big mask."

Little did Adcock know he poked a bear. As we reported last month, Bryan hopped a barbed wire fence at the Born and Raised Festival, daring Adcock to brawl. To his credit, Adcock stated he doesn't want to fight Bryan.

Gavin Adcock Shares More of the Story

Adcock admitted to Bunnie XO on her Dumb Blonde podcast that he'd been trolling Bryan, but didn't want to ruin his own set by fighting him. What angered him most was Bryan's behavior during Gabriella Rose's performance.

Bryan wasn't on the Born and Raised lineup, but joined the "Double Wide" singer for a performance of "Madeline", their duet. During the song, Bryan called out Adcock several times.

"That pissed me off the most the whole day," said Adcock. "The fence scaling stuff, the 'Oh I'm gonna fight you, gonna kill you' type stuff didn't bother me. The fact that he took advantage of her set, somebody that was probably really excited about you coming up there and singing the song, and took that moment and screamed, 'F*** yeah, Gavin Adcock' three or four times the whole song, she had to feel sick."

He added, "I've only been just super nice to Gabriella, I'm a big fan, I love the way she sounds. And that just rubbed me really, really wrong that day."

Adcock Says Zach Bryan Was on a Mission

Adcock claims that he heard Bryan was going to mess with his headlining set.

"He just paced around the inside of the festival all day, drunk as hell, throwing up in trash cans, going up to other artists, treating them like s***, their crew like s***, and just asking 'Where's Gavin?' When I got to the festival that morning, they said, 'Hey, Zach's coming today, he's probably gonna try to start some s*** to get you to not go onstage, so just be aware of that,'" he shared.

He added, "And my crew is smart enough to go, 'Yeah, he's gonna try to pull some s***, so you don't get to play this show for 10,000 people 30 minutes away from his house.' So I had that on my mind all day, and when he pulled up on the other side of the fence, I was just chilling out there."

We may never get the full story, but Adcock will likely keep sharing his side, so stay tuned.
