The Cyrus family is dealing with a bizarre set of drama, courtesy of Mr. Achy Breaky Heart Billy Ray Cyrus. It all starts with his strange, possibly inebriated performance at the Liberty Ball for President Trump's inauguration. Lots of technical difficulties, muttering, mumbling, and stumbling around. Afterwards, he tries to shrug off the bad performance by chopping it up to show business. "I had a ball at the Liberty Ball last night and I've learned through all these years when the producer says, 'You're on,' you go entertain the folks even if the equipment goes to hell. I was there for the people and we had a blast. That's called rock n roll!!!" Billy Ray exclaims.

Naturally, the Cyrus family is concerned, most notably his son Trace. He laments seeing his father look 'unrecognizable' and wanted his dad to get some help. Then, in a pretty unexpected swerve, Billy Ray was reportedly ready to take his son to court over the public plea. Now, he's posting cryptic captions on the internet in the name of prayer.
Billy Ray Cyrus Calls for Prayer After Messy Family Drama and Alleged Threats
Recently, Cyrus posts a video on YouTube of one of his old records, "Somebody Said a Prayer." Usually, this isn't worth batting an eye over. However, it's the caption that raises a few eyebrows. Billy Ray writes, "Sunday callin. Giving thanks for the California Rain . Praying for the brokenhearted and their pain. Praying for my family. For my children ... sons and daughters...and their mother. Let this moment be the start of healing for us all. 'The past does not equal the future.' Amen."
I'll go ahead and say what everyone's probably thinking: what the hell is he talking about?! Billy Ray has a strange way of addressing his problems. Frankly, this seems like something he could've just spoken with Trace or literally anyone in his family about first. I know their dynamic is fractured but still. We could all afford to heed Miley's lead and keep our hands clean of it.
