"We've been talking about it," Brown shares on Country Countdown USA. "It's with Taylor Lautner. It supposedly shoots in Italy. I haven't been to Italy. It hasn't shot yet. Me and you have the same information. But I think we'll do it either the end of this year or early next year."

Brown was, perhaps surprisingly, hand-picked for the role by the movie's director, Natalie Simpkins.

"We knew we needed bold, lovable personalities to match the heart and humor of this story," Simpkins says. "Kane brings something so unique. He has a rare mix of vulnerability and magnetism that's incredibly compelling."

This isn't Brown's first acting role, but it is his first movie role. The father of three previously guest-starred in an episode of Fire Country.

Brown likely isn't leaving country music anytime soon. He currently has a Top 5 hit, with "Backseat Driver."

Kane Brown's Massive Body Transformation

Kane Brown is a much different man than he used to be, at least physically. The 31-year-old reveals what he has done to lose weight and gain muscle - and he isn't done yet.

"I lost 20 pounds," Brown reveals."I started fasting and losing weight a couple weeks ago. You gotta watch what you eat. Now I just have water, rice, protein, and no sugar. No soda, alcohol, or anything like that. I feel great, I have a lot of energy. I want to see how shredded I can get."

The news comes after Brown recently revealed a six-week transformation, which began on April 1. He also shares that he did a 60-day fast.

"I just did a 60-hour fast," Brown shared, posting photos of his first meal. "First meal, chicken and broccoli. Notice I did not touch the barbecue sauce. Put a little pepper on there. Felt like my throat was about to close up for some reason. I don't know. Maybe I'm in my head. But, I'm about to be a lean, mean, ripped machine. Let's get it."
